For over twenty years, I have thought how neat it would be to have 56 T-bird. During that time, the price has gone thru the roof. Then the retro T-Birds came out in 2000 and I was not that impressed however they have grown on me over the years. Here is where the spontaneous part comes in, I was driving by Car Maxx in Fresno and I saw a platinum 2005 50th Anniversary Edition RETRO T-BIRD. At this point, my heart rate was up. However, I was still under control. Then I stopped and looked at it. Still under control, then I drove it. Still under control. Then I found out that the hard top had never been removed all the tools were still in plastic. The moment I saw 5000 miles on the odometer all control was gone and spontaneity took over. And, you know the rest of the story.
