1952 Henry J Corsair Deluxe (Hairy Canary)
Last updated Mar 28, 2011
This 1952 Henry J was built by Kaiser/Frazer and was the brain child of Henry J Kaiser. They were built in 1951 to 1954 then the company went under. The company also had a contract with Sears to sell these autos with the name of Allstate. The leftover 1951 Henry J's that did not sell were changed to 1952 that why every once and a while you see a 1952 with a 1951 Grill, thats why. Mine is a real 1952 and was the 4th one built in this year, it now has a 350 Cu. In V8, 700 R4, Mustang II Front Suspension and an S-10 Rear. The name "Hairy Canary" was something I thought up back in 1964 when I graduated High School and wanted one but never got around to getting one, but now I have it and all thats left is for me to paint the Hairy Canary Graphics on both rear fenders.
