1967 Ford Mustang 289 Coupe (Green Machine)

Trophies: 2 Give a trophy Last updated Mar 20, 2013

About

Just your ordinary 67 Mustang Coupe. Lime Green with white vinyl top with about 78K original miles on it. I bought it off of a lady that literally knew nothing about cars, other than she loved the color. It also came with a scrap book that has receipts back to the early 80's. The most recent receipt was for a complete engine replacement (Jasper long block). Fortunately, it came with Hi-perf heads. Unfortunately, the shop reinstalled alot of the old original items - intake, carb, alternator, etc.

Specs

Stock, but brand new, 289. Original 2 barrel carb has been replaced with Edelbrock intake and 500 cfm carb. Front end is now being completely rebuilt with Klaus Arning A-arm drop, 1" drop springs, and roller perches. While I'm in there I am removing the old undercoating and repainting the fender wells.

Factory Options

Lime Gold paint, Ivy Gold interior, White Vinyl top, 289-2V, C-4, Air conditioning, power steering, factory tach, and factory console.

Mods

Currently under minor resto-mod. Engine is being spruced up, suspension rebuilt, and interior freshened.
