MCACN-II hosted one of, if not THE largest ever tributes to the cars built by Warminster, PA’s Hurst Performance, Inc. Forty in all! Of course, the Hurst Oldsmobiles, and specifically Hurst Oldsmobile Indy 500 pace cars–many from collector Joe Spagnoli—dominated the collection.

Coloradan Wayne Schmeeckle rolled up with this Midwest Muscle Cars (Lake Zurich, IL) -restored ‘69 Dodge Daytona among other cars out of his vast collection.
The Stage 1/Stage II 455 Buick GSX’s were formerly owned by Lenny “Pop” Kennedy, the forerunner of Kenne-Bell Engineering. The cars are now owned by Guy Parquette and Dave Benesek and were the scourge of the NHRA Super Stock ranks in their day. They dominated the Buick Light Your Fire display.
