Ford’s 4.6L three-valve modular V-8 engine is strong enough when it’s normally aspirated, but when you bolt on one of Vortech Engineering’s self-contained, V3 Si trim superchargers with eight-rib pulley at 11-12 psi, the horsepower quotient jumps up to 492 with 432 ft-lbs torque and the fun begins!
