Currently own 1971 Trans Am, 455 HO, 4 speed car.
1981 Trans Am, Black on Black Turbo car.
I get great joy from building my own engines and focusing on the details. Ported my 4x heads, bought video and watched it a bunch of times. My plans for the blue 71 is to return it to its original color of white. Has original blue interior. Want to change the muncie m22 to a 5 or 6 speed tremec overdrive. I really don't like the muncie, even as good as it is suppose to be. The 2.20 1st gear ratio is way too high. Hard to take off, even with all the torque.
The 81, I bougt for my 7 year old son. And of course I drive it more than my blue one. Plan on a 5.3 ls motor turbocharged by Cruizing the coast 2009. Already put a 200R4 in it. That overdrive is awesome.
