So I went to my first open car show since getting the bird painted. It was a small event in my hometown so I didn't feel terribly pressured. There was another third gen there so I didn't feel so bad. Its odd seeing my car lined up with cars 20 to 30 year its senior, but at least there were some newer cars there as well. The strangest feeling is when other people are taking pictures of the car and walking up to it, looking it over. I felt a little flattered, but at the same time I was hoping they didn't mess with it. Is that normal?
Regardless I had a good time and chatted up with some very interesting characters. Everyone has a story about their car, and I love hearing it and sharing mine. I'm looking forward to the upcoming car show coming up next Saturday in Biloxi.
Well this is my first blog post so I'll make it short. I came to the Motortopia website by suggestion from my brother to check out the Bandit Run information and I'm very glad I created a profile here. I've been met with nothing but friendly people. It's nice to see such a good and welcoming community. Thank you everyone.
I'm currently looking for Firebird clubs in the south Mississippi region. If anyone knows of one please let me know. I'm hoping to attend a few car shows too, so information on those is always welcome.
