This Monument must itself the initiative of the Cadets of Infantry of 1951. Had like sponsors: Dr Euvaldo Lodi as the President of the S. AND. S. I. and Gen. Francisco Agra of Lacerda, as the Director of Making of the Army.

It inaugurated in 23 IV 1932, being a President of the Republic the Dr. Getúlio Dornelles Vargas, Minister of the War Gen. Ciro of the Holy Spirit Cardoso; Director of the Education of the army Gen. Mario Travassos and Commander of AMAN. the Gen. Nestor Souto de Oliveira.
