KEARNEY, Neb. (Oct. 29, 2025) – BluePrint Engines, the authority in crate engines, has announced the newest addition to its Builder Series lineup: GM LS-compatible 376 c.i. Pro Series engine packages paired with the ZF 8HP70 8-speed automatic transmission, offering builders a reliable and powerful solution for a wide variety of builds.

The BluePrint Builder Series 376 c.i. combines the proven performance and reliability of Blueprint’s dyno-tested engines with the advanced engineering of the ZF 8-speed transmission. Known for its fast shift times and smooth gear changes, the ZF 8HP70 rivals dual-clutch systems while offering the durability and drivability of modern automatics. This package is ideal for street machines, pro-touring builds, RestoMod projects and more.

Key features of the Builder Series LS-compatible engines with ZF transmission kits include:

  • 376 c.i. Pro Series LS-compatible engine producing up to 530 horsepower
  • Blueprint high-strength LSX-style block with multiple intake options (Composite, High-Rise Fabricated Aluminum, Low-Profile Cast Aluminum)
  • Blueprint-calibrated EFI engine and transmission management, no external TCU required
  • OEM-level calibration for performance and reliability
  • BPE electronic shifter for ZF 8HP70 included
  • Proven durability with over two years of R&D testing on the ZF transmission
  • Lightweight design at just 190 lbs compared to GM 6L80 (230 lbs) and 8L80 (218 lbs)
  • Up to 200ms shift times for quicker, smoother gear changes
  • 7.0:1 gear spread for enhanced acceleration
  • Complete installation hardware: oil cooler, adapter, hoses, flex-plate, and mount
  • Compatible with standard U-joint sizes for simplified driveline integration
