Sometimes the best custom trucks aren’t the ones trying the hardest to get your attention. Sexual Chocolate, Joshua Steele’s 1979 Chevrolet C10, proves that simple, clean and properly executed can be hard to beat. Built by Joshua and the team at Nevrslo Motorsports in Austin, Texas, this squarebody was designed to feel like a time capsule—just lower, tighter and with a whole lot more attitude. Deep root-beer-brown paint, a camel brown interior and a perfectly planted stance give this C10 an old-school look without chasing trends or piling on unnecessary modifications. Under the hood is where things get rowdy. A 383-cubic-inch stroker V8 built in-house features Eagle rods, Wiseco internals, a Clay Smith cam, ported Flotek aluminum heads, a Holley carburetor and Weiand intake. It’s backed by a TH350 automatic, 3,200-RPM stall converter and a 12-bolt rear with 3.73 gears. Underneath, a GSI front clip and back half help give Sexual Chocolate its killer stance while keeping it a truck that can actually be driven.
