One of the first things I had to do when I got this car was change the radiator. The original owner's idea of fixing a leak was to just pour as much Bars Leak in it as possible.. Which didn't help much at all. It took a little bit of work to change the radiator, but in the end Slider's running cooler and leak free. The original radiator was an enclosed system, but the radiator I bought needed a cap, which I actually prefer. After flushing the system a ton of times, I finally managed to clean all the old gunk out. Then an air pocket developed right underneath my thermostat, which I found out is the highest spot on this car for the radiator, so this was a great learning experience for me.
