Well - it's time. The car hasn't been started in a couple years. Compression test showed 50-70psi in most cylinders and a big fat goose egg on cylinder #5. Found the intake valve stuck wide open...and frozen there. Pulled motor. Tore down. Crank looks decent, #7 and #5 piston rings siezed to the pistons. Nasty mess. Took everything to Ewing Machine Service in Snellville, Ga. and the motor is being gone through currently. New pistons, wrist pins, rings, cam, lifters, timing components, oil pump, gaskets, lifters, springs, retainers - ALL new. Should be getting motor back on the stand to assemble in a few days.
