I'v had this one about 10 years, lost my license for 30 years for DWI .So I couldn't drive it just got my license back and started working on it.Took out the 6 and put a 355 4 speed for a heavy car it scoots,oh and I don't drink no more
After wrecking my 70 chevelle, which was passed the point of restoring, I brought this 68 back to life in effort to redeem myself. When I found it it was completely gutless, and was sitting in a forest covered in webs, rats and spiders. It took 2 years to restore and has won 1st place in a 60's show class. Its also my daily driver, which takes me to work and school. I recently removed the old th350, originally out of the 70 malibu, and replaced it witha muncie m20, which is one of the best mods I have done to the car. Since the muncie install, it has seen some drag strip action, and 350 has been pulled out in favor of a warmed over 327 bored .040 over which I blew up drag racing, and now sports a .060 over 327 with aluminum heads and around 400+hp. I swapped the 10 bolt open rear for a 4.11 posi 12bolt. This is my baby and it will never leave my ownership Thank you for looking.
