About Group

The EVOOA was formed in 1996 and is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with officers in different regions of the US. This is an international group of owners of vintage, classic, and restored modern emergency vehicles of all types, civilian and miltary, police, fire and EMS. We have over 700 members, many from the ranks of public safety, active and retired, and others with just a love and respect for the vehicles that are used to keep us all safe, past and present. We have national events yearly and attend many local events and functions of all kinds. The EVOOA has a strong ethics code for it's membership promoting and requiring responsible ownership and operation on public roads of these types of vehicles. The EVOOA is also proud to be associated with our group members such as the California Highway Patrol, the Washington State Police Historical Society, the NYPD Police Museum, and others.

More info about the EVOOA can be obtained from our website, www.evooa.org . A printable membership application is available directly on this site.

Membership Requirements: Members do not have to own an emergency vehicle to join. We also do not ever require members to have finished vehicles to participate in events. Dues are $25/year in the US, $35/year outside of the US. Group memberships from within public safety agencies, historical societies and other associated organizations are welcomed. Contact us directly for more information.
