I frist saw this car in HotRod Mag in August 1972 and again in the Jackson Brothers GASSER WARS video in 1986. When I saw it For Sale on the internet, I called the seller and gave them the Buy Now Price. I then flew to Canton Ohio, in the middle of the winter, it was 12degs when I got there. The car was in an old brick garage with no heat and the chorme was badly rusted. I was abit dissapointed and almost backed out when Barbara, the seller, show me a tee shirt that she would throw in with the deal, So I bought the car. I have no regreats. I have re-chromed the whole undercariage since then. "Catch Me If You Can" was chosen to join an elite gathering of vehicles cecebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona in January 2009 this was the third time this car appeared in the show. The first time was in 1971 again in 1972 and now in 2009. The paint job was done in 1970 and for it's age still looks Great. If I ever decied to restore it Art Himsl the original painter is still alive and well painting cars in No. Cal.
"Catch Me If You Can" is a real Steel Body1933 Willys Delivery with a glass tilt front end and glass rear fenders.
The motor is a 427 cubic inch Chevy that come out of the factor with 390 HP. In the 70's the car ran a four speed. But Barbara put an automatic in it I plan to change it back to the four speed.
It runs a Chromed narrowed 64 Olds rearend with 3.5 to 1 gears.
The rims are ET 10 spokes up Front with ET's in the rear.
A Four Banger Motor with a manuel transmission
