This was my 1/4 mile oval dirt track racing machine. We raced a dirt circuit of 2 night races and 1 afternoon race. She paid for herself in a half season! Good Days the late '50s and early '60s
1940 Ford Coupe chopped and widened, special handmade widened Buick rims and 1939 wheel centers and a left hand VW on the left front. Full roll cage with integral side nerf or keep-off bars. Total drive ratio 6.63/1
!948 V-8 Ford flat head, High compression, ported and relieved aluminum heads, Jahns oversize pistons, ISKY 1007LD cam, light weight 1937 Ford rods and crank attached to a hollowed out flywheel milled to fit the clutch mating profile, 1937 aluminum intake manifold with a huge single throat GMC truck carburetor..
