From the way it looks, that car must have been built "Back In The Day". If it wasn't, someone was paying close attention to the details. The bodywork and rake are perfect for the time. I may be a Mopar guy but I can appreciate a great old hot rod as much as the next guy. That's one cool ride, man! trophy image

1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu (Dragula)

Last updated Aug 3, 2011

Photo of a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu (Dragula)

My wife and I bought this car April '08. This is the first picture I took after we pushed it off the trailer. We have gone through and completed all the work neccessay to get this old girl back on the road. She sat for about 6 years and fired up on the first try!!

Dragula is a work in progress.....but we are enjoying her every step of the way!

Small Block 327
*Holley 650 Double Pumper
Muncie 4 Speed Transmission
3:55 Rearend
*Mallory Ignition
Pertronics Electronic Conversion

Factory Options

No Idea.....not original

Mods were done by previous owner.
-Fender Flares
-Traction bars
-Custom Interior
-Custom Paint (Cadillac Victoria Plum)
-Custom Pin Striping

(Spring '08)
We just completed a front end rebuild. (Thanks 1952Wagon)

(Spring / Summer '09)
Original fan and fan shrowd put on. (We hated the Flex fan and half shrowd that were on Dragula when we got her.)
14" Derale High Output Electric fan added to help keep this girl cool. (Some slight modifications to make it all fit.) :)

Dragula is enjoying her winter hibernation. In the meantime we are starting to get a pile of parts together for a springtime install.
