I bought this car about 26 years ago, was pretty rough, in primer, had incorrect engine and trans ( still does :), missing some trim ( still is :) ), had had a pretty rough life. I have always liked the Pontiac line more than the Chevy ( more chrome, better lines ), plus they are Canadian made. I have never restored it, just used it a my summer time run-around car.
Was originally a 283 slushbox, someone had dropped a '66 Chevelle 396 4bbl with a Muncie 4 speed into it. Motor is a 4 bolt main engine, hydraulic cam ( probably a 360 HP engine ), Holley dbl pumper carb. Has a 10 bolt open diff.
Car has buckets, no console. Standard brakes and steering.
Just the motor and tranny swap.
