Bought in the spring of 1995 for $600.00 and after a few mods ( Rolls Royce hood ). In April of 2003 with up coming back surgery a friend took the car and made it into the car you see.
New Motor Type III case 1835cc DP ( 9.5:1 ) , std crank, .020/std. mains Mahle lifters Crower Cam 61004 DT cam bearings Grant rings 8 dowel/chromoly gland nut 10mm case savers 044 heads w/ Scat HD single springs, chromoly retainers, CB keepers, .015 shim cut .080 w/clearance rebuilt rods CB full flow oil pump (30mm ) Teflon buttons Scat 1.25 rockers vented rocker covers Empi 1.5 qt. Sump CB 3/8 push rods Crower 61004 cam ( int.@284 and exh. @ 290 ) dura. @ .050 -int. @244 and exh. @252 ( lift @ cam int. .390” exh. @ .411”) lift @ valve w/ 1.25 – int. .488” and exh. @ .514” Engine has chrome tin and stainless steel fire wall, Carbs are dual 40mm Solex's The car has a adjustable front beam with American Racing wheels on all 4 corners 205/70x15 fronts and 235/60x15 on rear. Clutch is a 1700# Stage I Kennady, Seats are 2 tone leather to match the exterior paint , it has a Bugpack drag shifter w/a Monster Tach w/ shift light. All the stainless bumpers and side panels were hand made. Last is the wind up key , is powered by a GM wiper motor ( works both manually or remote control) and the key is hand made and ceramic coated. Exhaust is ceramic coated both the header and Mondo muffler match. Lighting for the signals are LED's and are relocated in the front and frenched in the rear. Car is painted 2003 Monty Carlo yellow and 2003 Chevy truck orange . Way cool car thanks for looking.
