My first 911 which was probably the low point of the 911 in terms of performance and desireability. The 77 was galvanized etc but the magnesium block was not a favourite due to its tendency to pull head studs. At 2.7 liters it also in S form only made about 175 HP but it was still a great little 911 as my starter. A targa in a nice dark red or wine colour it was striking on the road. I put a lot of miles on the car and most of them highway where these cars really come into their own. This was a between marriages car for me.
From this I moved on to the Carrera.
