1978 Chevrolet Malibu Base (MylilBOO!)

Photo of a 1978 Chevrolet Malibu Base (MylilBOO!)

My favorite car ever is now in my possession! It is a 78 Malibu that I stumbled onto in a Craigslist ad. It was for 4500 cash and I was about a week out from my income taxes. Total freak out mode since I knew I did not have the full amount til the taxes were cleared. Called the guy and he had just bought a Corvette and was not in a hurry to sell and was not looking to have the car cut up into a dumbass donk or a dirt track car. So he was selectively looking for a buyer. YAY me! I came along and told him my situation, we talked about what my plans were and he said he would hold it til got my money. Fast forward a week and a half and not only was it still there he sold it to me for 3800. SCORE! Already had the brand new 17" show wheels and BFG drag radials all the way around with a few other stuff. but it drove home and ran pretty good.
