@carfanatic: Im just going on what i have been told, obviously i havent seen a build sheet though she probably still has it. She personally ordered it. Im assuming the LM-1 was the 350 for the Z28's that year. She didnt want that engine cause she didnt want the cam that it had. Obviously non of the cars from 79' had much HP but its still pretty interesting if she did get an engine from a Vette.

Beautiful Camaro, she looks real sweet!! But the 350 in her would be the LM1 that would have only been between 165-175 horsepower (no way to get a Corvette motor in a Berlinetta back 79, sorry).

About

My moms first Camaro. I don't know to much about it but heres what i do know. It is a 1979 Camaro Berinetta. She ordered it new when she was 19 and still has it today. It is still all original (except for the paint, although is the original color; and the wheels are AR-39's from American Racing, the original gold snowflakes are stacked up against the wall behind the car). She bought it with a 350 5.7L that was meant to go in a Corvette. The interior is all black and still "very" clean. It is in very good condition. I hope that one day this car will be come mine. All three cars were purchased from City Chevrolet in Charlotte NC.
