I bought this little car back in 1993 from neighbor for $400. Two of my daughters drove it to high school and the youngest ran it out of oil and cooked the motor. I rebuilt it and started using it for time trialing with EMRA group. I have about $10,000 invested over the years in upgrades to suspension and motor including bigger cam, four barrel, headers and four speed manual transmission.
Hagerty just listed this Firenza on the extinct list.
V6-231 cu. in. motor with Holly 390 cfm 4 barrel carburetor. Weiand intake manifold and Melling cam with .060 extra lift. Pacesetter headers and Saginaw 4 speed manual transmission.
I lowered the car 2 inches for better handling on the road courses and upgraded to bigger sway and panerd bar. Added dual core radiator to keep it running cooler.
