Converted to RWD, RB block 512 stroker, 727 torqueflight, Ford 9 inch rear, 24x 5.5 in front and 29x 18 in the rear M/T radials on Crager drag stars, 10 point roll cage, everything custom but the outer shell. The pictures can tell the rest...
3x2 full chassis made by Alston Racing , Moser 9in with 4 link. The front suspension is a custom Mustang II with tube upper control arms and steering rack. Motor is a 440 bored to 512 cubic inches with a 440 Source stoker kit. 12:1 final compression. A Mopar Performance purple shaft cam 484 lift with 1.7 Harland Sharp rollor rockers on 440 Source stealth aluminum heads. MSD 6al ignition with a custom CNC'd distributer. CRS electric water pump.Edelbrock Torker II intake with an 800 cfm Edelbrock carb. The motor dynoed at 634 hp at the crank with almost 700 pft.
The car has not been on the track with the new motor. The first motor was a 572 ci on alcohol that took the car to 8.26 in the quarter.
