This car started out as a regular plain jane gray 4 door sedan. Within moments of acquiring the car at 15, I knew right away after seeing Jim Cirovello's 59 Chevy panel painting, I would do the Delta 88 as a kustom, not having the money to afford a nice 50s car at the time. So I decided, while I save for my 50s car to acquire in only a few years, I would enjoy this the best I could with the traditional taste, much like how guys back in the day fixed up their 50s cars mildly while the *big* dream was to get a 32 Ford coupe or comparable hotrod material. I refuse to consider this car "old school" as this is not a term that was used back in the late '50s.
