Oh... the story. I drove from So Cal to purchase this car in San Francisco. At the time it has a Vortech S-Trim on it, and ran GREAT when I left the guy's house. About halfway home it started to overheat, and eventually required a tow the rest of the way. After a year of tinkering, repairing, radiator bleeding, and knuckle scraping, I decided it was more than I could tackle.
Upon tearing the motor down we found several scored cylinder walls and damage to pistons. It was time for a rebuild... JBA Racing in San Diego was commissioned to build a high compression small block, and ditch the supercharger in favor of daily driver reliability.
The car eventually became a weekender, as it has been for the past 6 years.
