We collect cars.By the time we can afford them they are 10 years old or more. After my Mom passed away I decided it was time to get what I really wanted-a WS6 Trans Am. I wanted an uncommon one, though-light blue. After months of searching the internet, I found out they didn't make it in a WS6. I did like the "Maple red" (also not available in WS6) and the yellow collector's edition. After much debate, I decided that I didn't like the black wheels on the collector's edition, and I would hate to modify it. Even though I loved the "Maple red, I decided it didn't stand out enough from a distance(I like my cars to "POP").
As I browsed through the cars again, what finally "POPPED", was the bright red, even though I had originally ruled it out as being too common.
A 21 year old had decided, it was either his car or a house for his girlfriend of 6 years. The "bird" he said actually scared him at times, and he was afraid to drive it because of it's 14,000 miles. I still remember the look on his face as we loaded it onto the trailer. Both of his "girls" meant a lot to him.
After driving the WS6, it's hard to go back to the 79's.
