Most awesome car I've ever owned. I drove this car for 4 laps on the Nuburgring Nordschleife in Germany which is most sports car manufacturers test track and is 14 miles long with 73 turns. I reached the top speed of 165 MPH. The car went 183 MPH on the autobahn legally. In various races, I have beaten a Ferrari 348 GTB, plenty of Porsche Carreras including the S model, an E55 Mercedes Coupe, a BMW M5 on Alpine highway in Bavaria, several BMW M3s, a 2005 Dodge Viper on a 1.5 mile closed road course at Francia Corte in Italy, an Aston Martin Coupe on the Autostrada in Italy, a Jag coupe (new model) on the autostrada in Italy. It was the top eliminator in an Italian 1/8th mile challenge in Jesolo, Italy out of 31 other Corvettes. It has run the 1/4 mile in 12.3 seconds at 118 MPH prior to some of the new mods. It has Corsa Indy exhaust with a Corsa X pipe, a VaraRam VRB2 ram air intake, Granatelli MAF, LS2 intake and 90 mm throttle body, large air bridge, smooth air coupler, adjustable fan control switch, 170 degree thermostat, Baer two piece drilled and slotted rotors , stainless steel brake lines, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, B&M short shifter on the 6 speed transmission, Loyd's carpets etc., etc. The car was with me in Italy and Germany for 3 years. It currently has 30,000 miles and appears as new. Just got back from the Bloomington Gold Corvette show in Illinois yesterday....awesome! I prefer road racing to any other form of car racing but enjoy drag racing as well.
