When gas prices went sky high in 2008, i freaked and sold off my jeep to get something better on gas. Decided to look into a sport compact car and liked the look of the cobalt's. Originally i was hoping for a supercharged model but those were very hard to find and the ones i could find were way over priced.
Finally one day i came across this black SS cobalt, was a naturally aspirated model but was still a quick car. I negotiated a straight across trade with the dealership and after many hours, they finally agreed to it. My happiness was quickly turned to dissapointment and anger when i found out the front end of the car was sand blasted, which can only be seen in direct sun light, unfortunately for me, i bought it on a cloudy day so it looked perfect.
After many long arguements with the dealership, they would do nothing, i tried to get my jeep back but it was sold off right away, so i made due with what i had. I started to do some mods to the car to make it my own. It was involved in a front end collision so i was able to get all the damaged paint fixed up so the accident actually worked out for me lol.
I sold the car in the summer of 2010 for my current 2010 ram i own, the car was fun, but not that practical for BC weather or my new job which had me carrying big bags that could barely fit in the trunk opening.
