A Rowdy Diesel Throwdown in Tennessee

Black smoke and cheering fans filled the crisp March air as Fitzgerald Performance’s Truck Fest 3.0 rolled into Jamestown, Tennessee on March 7–8, 2025. Billed as “the Rowdiest Diesel Show in the Country”, the event truly lived up to the hype. Even seasoned show-goers hailed it as “by far the rowdiest diesel truck show” they’d ever attended. With 20,000 spectators – Day one alone was said to be “a movie and a packed house”, setting the tone for an unforgettable weekend of diesel-powered excitement.

We missed out on the last event in October 2024 – so we had to make it out to FP 3.0. With burnouts going both ways in the dead ended street, dyno pulls in the corner, and the burnout pit out going on all day there was never a dull moment. Along with the absolutely insane amount of trucks (1800 registered) and constant action going on, there were 75 vendors that were all stocked with products and good vibes as well. We love seeing so many companies come together to support the diesel scene with their presence at these shows, no matter where they are from.

Tire Smoke and Thunderous Horsepower

From daytime dyno pulls to nighttime burnouts, FP 3.0 delivered nonstop action. The schedule featured a double-header of the wild Kings of Chaos burnout contest and the high-stakes Bash 4 Cash dyno challenge. Tire-shredding trucks roared in the burnout pit, engulfing the grounds in thick smoke as drivers tried to outdo each other. Meanwhile on the dyno, built diesels pushed their engines to the brink in search of top horsepower honors. Multiple pickups broke into four-digit horsepower territory, and even a 3,000+ HP drag truck made an appearance built by SPF.

Trucks, Fans, and Full-Throttle Fun

Beyond the contests, FP Truck Fest was a celebration of diesel culture. A sprawling show-and-shine showcased everything from meticulously polished classics to jaw-dropping lifted modern builds. Dozens of vendors lined the midway, turning the venue into a marketplace where fans could score parts and talk shop with industry pros. Title sponsor JTX Forged set up a gleaming display of custom wheels, and sponsors like Coaltrain Energy and AirDog Fuel Systems helped boost the prize purses. Diesel influencers turned out in force. YouTube superstar WhistlinDiesel even stopped by and “threw down” for the fans. Fitzgerald also seized the moment to promote a new giveaway dubbed “FP1,” offering enthusiasts a chance to win a built truck plus a hefty $10,000 cash prize. Recap videos and social media posts soon followed, spreading the show’s highlights to diesel fans far and wide.

The highlight of our weekend was getting to shut down the burnout strip with Stock To Not. As you can see we did a little body swap (check out the article on dieselworldmag.com about the body swap) and let our Smeding S467 sing for all the people that were willing to hear it. We really appreciate everyone that came by the Liberty Forged booth to check out what we’ve been building for a while and see how far it’s come!

If you’re looking to get a solid taste of what the diesel scene is about – whether it’s big horsepower, cool lifted trucks, burnouts, or good food trucks – FP 4.0 is where you need to be this October. This show is one of the best all day, not get bored for 10 hours type of truck events and we will continue to show up and cover it time and time again! Thanks to Blake, Bubba and the Fitzgerald Performance staff for hosting a fun event and getting us media passes to share this event with our readers who couldn’t be there!
