Celebrates Veteran’s Day in Huntington Beach

A lot has been going on in the car world here at Fireball Publishing. We had a great time at SEMA and got to meet a lot of you.

Recently I became President of a Newport Beach-based Foundation called HALOS AND HEROS, an amazing group run by local car enthusiast, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Rich Brister, organized specifically for our Veteran’s kids.

We spent the day in Huntington Beach at the VERETAN’S DAY CAR SHOW put on by our buddy Jacob. An awesome turnout with about 150 cars and some pretty incredible people to celebrate our Vets through cars. But if you haven’t heard of HALOS AND HEROS yet, stand ready because we’re on the verge of making a serious impact with these kids.

The Foundation specifically helps children who have lost parents to WAR and COMBAT. These kids are left without Parents, Uncles, Aunts and BIG Brothers due to overseas combat, leaving a massive emotional scar in their lives. But Halos and Heros is here to help support them through creative programs, funding and emotional support systems. And at this show, Rich met with the Marines there and not only took them all to lunch, but made sure that they knew that while they were away from their families, we were here to help.

Veterans go through a lot when they return home and support is key. But while they’re away, family support lets them know that all are taken care of through their time in the Service. And there’s a way for you to help also. Most Foundations disperse funding, but also take a portion for themselves. Halos and Heros targets 100% of ALL donations to Vets and their families. And that includes my new Coloring Book you see here available on Amazon. 100% of the proceeds of this Book is donated to those kids.
