Press Release
Wilwood has engineered several big brake kits in two rotor sizes specifically for the JDM Nissan Skyline chassis, including the iconic high-performance Skyline GT-R variants from 1989-02. Initially built for the Japanese market, they did not comply with US laws and standards. However, after 25 years of age, they may be imported into the USA, and Wilwood offers many options to modernize the braking power.
Two of Wilwood’s esteemed, forged aluminum powerhouse calipers are available for the front axle. Choose a six piston Superlite FNSL6R or Aerolite AERO6 and add a biased-matched four piston Superlite FNSL4R to the rear axle. All big brake kits are compatible with OE electronic controls, ABS, and the master cylinder. Calipers are available in gloss red or gloss black powder coat, or many other color options (additional charges apply). Brake kit choices include E-coated GTB slotted with higher-performance BP-20 brake pads, or SRP drilled and slotted paired with BP-10 street performance pads. Vented rotors are sized from 12.88” to 14.00” x 1.25” up front, and 13.50” x .81” in the rear.
Premium-grade installation hardware is included, and Wilwood’s stainless steel Flexlines are available separately for the specific year, make, and model configuration.
MSRP: Kits start at $2,399.00
