Wilwood is proud to announce the release of its new high-performance scalloped rotor kit, engineered to deliver exceptional control and tunability for winged Sprint Cars. Featuring a compact, lightweight 10.20-inch steel rotor design. This innovative package enhances wheel clearance and improves pedal feel. By simply changing brake pad compounds, drivers can achieve the most precise, customizable braking performance to suit different track conditions or driving styles.
A newly designed, smaller and lighter, scalloped rotor weighs only 3.20 pounds, still maintains the popular 3×5.00” mount, and is black E-coated for added oxidation protection. Clamping force is delivered through a 1.7-pound Wilwood workhorse DPS, Dynapro Single two piston caliper with universal mounting options for front or rear bearing carrier locations. A Type III Hard Anodized shell, inside and out, adds protection for a longer service life. Brake kits include Wilwood’s BP-40 composite metallic compound for high-temperature use, with BP-28 and BP-45 tuning compounds also available.
