Wilwood Racing has developed a proprietary compound specifically for tuning chassis. Using compound BP-00 brake pad in the right front caliper of GM Metric single piston floater, model D-154, will assist in turning the car in traction which is especially helpful on racetracks with
tight left corners.
The high-resistance compound will generate heat without the coefficient of friction that other racing materials are designed to provide. The BP-00 brake pads have excellent wear characteristics and are more rotor-friendly than higher-friction pads. The advanced friction material provides zero stopping power and effectively disables the right front caliper.
D-154 caliper Tuning Brake Pads are designed for racing applications, and are not intended for street use. The part number is sold as an individual wheel set.
