PK Krwawecz has been an automotive enthusiast since 1985 and an aftermarket automotive businessman since 1999. In 2013, he was hired by Edge and Superchips to promote the brands at shops all over the Midwest and Southeast. During that time, he started building this 2011 Chevy and has no plans to stop!
In fact, he recently took a position as Regional Sales Manager for Mishimoto and that undoubtedly means he will be installing many more performance products in the near future. “I don’t think it will ever be done!” Krwawecz told us.

The 2011 Silverado was purchased on 11/11/11 and since then it’s had a ton done to it…more than $25,000 worth of work with the receipts still stacking up. Krwawecz is quick to thank Josh O’Connor at Smokin’ Diesel Performance, James Dennis at Car Audio Sound Connection and both Justin Ma and Joe Dirt at Status Automotive for their invaluable help and advice.
The truck gets its stance from a 10-inch Stage 2 lift kit by Cognito that features drop brackets along with new control arms and spindles up front. The rear is lifted with 4-inch blocks and 4-inch lift Deaver springs. Smokin’ Diesel Performance in Grain Valley, Missouri built custom traction bars for the truck to help prevent axle wrap when Krwawecz steps on the loud pedal. Husky fender liners cover up all the extra parts that now show up after the lift was installed. American Force Nightmare FP5 wheels (20×10) wrapped with 37-inch Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires fill up a lot of the fender well. AMP Research electric steps make it easy to get into the lifted truck but they hide away when the doors are closed.

A set of Yukon 4.56 gears were installed in the front and rear differentials (with an Oasis rear diff cover) to make up for the big lift and tires. Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks smooth out the ride, while EBC drilled and slotted rotors (plus a new master cylinder) help bring all that mass back down to a halt.
The LML Duramax’s fuel system is enhanced with an AirDog 165 pump and filter system that delivers plenty of fuel up to a CP3 with an ATS Twin Fueler kit adding to the original CP4 factory high pressure fuel pump to support up to 1,000 horsepower as Krwawecz continues to upgrade the engine. The LML still uses factory fuel injectors but with enhanced EFILive tuning from Motor Ops that are selected through the Edge CTS2 Insight display. A stainless steel MBRP 5-inch DPF-back exhaust system is used to help the Duramax breathe a little easier with a Mishimoto radiator and silicon hoses to help keep engine temperature in check and a Mishimoto intercooler brings the intake charge temps down. While he hasn’t had the truck on a dyno yet, he estimates that it is making around 550-horsepower and 1,100 lbs-ft. of torque.

The interior was reupholstered by Classic Soft Trim in Orlando, Florida, and a host of audio components were installed too. The head unit is an Alpine 8-inch INE-Z928HD audio/video touchscreen receiver. Digital Designs amplifiers power the sound system with a pair of M1C mono amps driving the subs and a pair of C5D’s powering the mids and highs. Speakers include eight Digital Designs 8-inch subs with four of them in the custom center console and four installed in a custom enclosure under the rear seat firing forward. There are two DD AWS 6.5-inch speaker systems in each front door and a DD VO 3-way component system split between the rear doors while two Vibe tweeters installed in each A-pillar round out the sound system. The door panels were built by Status Auto in San-ford, Florida. The subs, custom console and amp racks in the bed were built by Car Audio Sound Connection in Concordia, Missouri. Two Kinetic PRO 1800S and one SHURiKEN SK-BT140 batteries and a DC Power 250 amp alternator supply enough energy for the truck’s extensive audio package. By the way, since Krwawecz spends so much time on the road, a custom Escort Passport 0500ci radar detector/laser jammer was integrated into the dash.

The body is completely wrapped by Sticker Dude Designs in McHenry, Illinois, with the graphics designed by Greg Z. A grille insert from Royalty Core adds some more visual flash to the front of the truck along with the Oracle Blue Halo headlights. Fusion front and rear bumpers replace the factory bumpers with strength and style that matches the massive ride. A ReTrax PRO bed cover keeps things safe in the bed.
Krwawecz added a host of Rigid lights to brighten things up when traveling down dark country roads. There are four dually lights in the front bumper, and one 10-inch light in the center with two dually lights installed in the rear bumper. There are also six blue Rigid rock lights in the fender wells and on the front, back and underneath the truck. If he feels like the truck is not getting enough attention (as if!) he can always toot the Nathan Airchime P5 train horns by Hornblasters. Everything is controlled by the Edge EAS power switch on the CTS2 Evolution. UDBG
