There’s something different about the vibe at Relaxin’ in the Park. Maybe it’s the way Larry Crites Park fills up with slammed trucks, bagged classics, and wild SEMA-style builds. Or maybe it’s the people, the kind that live for greasy knuckles, long hauls, and Main Street cruise nights. Whatever it is, the 7th annual event in Festus, Missouri, hit all the marks this year.

Photographer Damien Davis made the trip to capture the action, and according to him, “Relaxin’ has a unique vibe between the wide variety and high quality. It’s truly something that needs to be on your list for 2026.”

And he wasn’t kidding. With over 450 custom rides parked across the grounds, there was everything from six-figure SEMA showstoppers to home-built rigs with stories to tell. Big lifted diesel trucks were sitting beside body-dropped mini-trucks. Imports, lowriders, classics, and off-road rigs were there too! This event didn’t care what you brought, as long as it was cool.

Friday and Saturday night cruise-ins brought even more heat. Main Street in Festus turned into a rolling car show, with bars, restaurants, and local spots staying open late, serving food and drinks. Locals lined the sidewalks while trucks rolled deep, two lanes wide.

Relaxin’ in the Park isn’t just about showing off custom rides. A portion of the registration and raffle proceeds went to local charities, adding to the $12k+ they’ve raised over the years. That’s how you give back while throwing one of the best shows in the Midwest.

Kids had their own space with coloring contests, vendors were out selling merch, and over 100 awards went out to deserving builds. And in true patriot style, the show paused to salute our military veterans and first responders, a classy move that meant something to everyone there.
