HUNTINGTON BEACH CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE

33 Years of Hot Rods, Rats, Customs and More at the Huntington Beach Concours d’Eleganc

Started over 30 years ago, the Huntington Beach Concours d’Elegance has become one of my favorite events to attend in the Southern California region. Nestled on the picturesque lawns of Huntington Central Park the two day long event regularly brings in well over 400 cars in over 120 different classes.

Saturday’s (June 3rd 2017) theme is “Rods, Customs and Rats in the Park” which features, go figure, Hot Rods, Rat Rods and other custom rides from all over the local area. While Sunday (June 4th) offers more Concours-type cars beautifully restored to their original state, just like they were right off the factory floor. Anything from Model T’s and Mustangs to Resto-Mods and vintage bikes are on display all weekend.

The featured marque was Lincoln (it’s the 100th anniversary for the manufacturer this year) and Bentley for the cars, Ducati and Nimbus for the motorcycles. Both days offer a good mix of all different styles of car culture with things to keep the kids entertained as well.

This year’s event is just around the corner. We’ll see you there!
