The wait is over. The much-anticipated 2024 Lexus GX is finally here and ready for adventure with a combination of elegant features, off-road capability, and luxurious quality. Reimagined from the ground up, the company designed the all-new GX to inspire customers to pursue their urge to travel, take an unpaved path, and revel in the joy of driving.
The first-generation GX entered the North American market in 2002 in the mid-luxury SUV market. Lexus enthusiasts have long praised its legendary off-road capability and its ability to tackle rough terrain taking customers comfortably from errands to remote spaces. The 2024 GX builds upon the strong foundation created by the outgoing generation, and brings the intuitive technology, thoughtful interior touches, and continued off-road prowess that Lexus guests have come to expect.

The new 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R is the most powerful and capable high performance off-road full-size truck to ever run in the sand and beyond, thanks to an updated 5.2-liter supercharged V-8 cranking out 720hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. The 20hp increase is achieved with reduced air inlet losses coupled with an optimized calibration that also results in a wider torque curve.
The first F-150 Raptor debuted 14 years ago with 310hp from a 5.4-liter V-8 and 411 horsepower from an available 6.2-liter V-8. Raptor’s legacy of high performance and durability continues to set the bar in the high-performance, off-road segment and delivers on the vision to bring customers closer to Baja desert racing-inspired trophy truck performance.
Kindred Motorworks, the Bay Area producer of modernized vintage vehicles, celebrated a huge milestone as it delivered its first customer car, a Kindred Bronco Heritage Edition, to customer 001, Jeff Tsai, during a ceremony at the company’s Mare Island, California, headquarters.
Manufacturing at Kindred’s Mare Island facility continues, with several Kindred Broncos currently moving through the vehicle assembly process, and an active pipeline of vehicles waiting for their build slots to open up as vehicles are completed.
By the end of this year, Kindred will have started production on 13 Broncos, with four finished vehicles delivered to customers, one retained by Kindred internally as its new marketing vehicle, with the remaining eight customers carrying over as works-in-progress that will be delivered to customers in 2024.
As Kindred Motorworks enters this new phase, the design and development teams have turned their focus to the upcoming Kindred Bronco EV as conventionally powered Broncos move through the manufacturing process and into the hands of customers. Kindred Motorworks will share more news about the Bronco EV’s development throughout 2024, with the prototype slated to debut in Q3.
