The all-new Gen 5 SureFit Kit for 1987-95 Jeep YJ models sets a new standard for bolt-in climate control, delivering unmatched performance, a refined design and modern functionality for the beloved Wrangler platform. Unlike other systems that are “add-on cool-only” additions to the factory heater, the new SureFit kit is an integrated OEM-level system that offers blended heat, cool and defrost functions. At its core is the powerful Gen 5 Max module, engineered for maximum airflow, quick temperature response and reliable efficiency. The OEM-quality injection-molded case houses separate high-capacity A/C and heater coils with electronically controlled blend air doors to maintain “just right” temperatures in every season.

The 1987-95 Jeep YJ kit comes equipped with a redesigned underdash louver package and a bolt-in LED-backlit control panel that mimics the factory look. As with all SureFit systems, the evaporator utilizes precision laser-cut powder-coated brackets that mount to the original firewall locations, paired with rubber well-nut isolators to minimize vibration and enhance overall NVH performance.

The complete kit also includes a compressor with a bracket that adapts to the factory drive system, a bolt-in condenser assembly, pre-crimped refrigerant lines and step-by-step installation instructions.
