Clackamas, OR (2/2/2026) – Warn Industries has released an exciting addition to its ZEON winch line up: ZEON XC. These winches offer all the power and performance of ZEON XD winches, but in a more compact, low-profile size. This allows them to be easily mounted in tighter spaces, provides increased mounting options, and provides reduced weight. ZEON XC is one of the most versatile winches ever produced.

Best-In-Class Performance, Features, and Compact Size

Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Clackamas, Oregon USA for maximum quality, the ZEON XC is ultra reliable and powerful, while being more compact than other ZEON winches.

While the winch might be slimmer, its pulling power is as big as other ZEON winches. ZEON XC is available in 10,000 lb., 12,000 lb., and 14,000 lb. capacities, and is available with either steel rope, Spydura® synthetic rope, or no rope at all.

Pumped Full of Premium Features

Despite the more compact size, ZEON XC winches don’t compromise on features. Buyers get a high-performance, high-efficiency motor and geartrain combo delivering up to 40 ft/min—the fastest in its class. A new, low-profile ultra-reliable Albright contactor, complete with bus bars, controls the winch and offers the ultimate in control, reliability, and efficiency.

ZEON XC is also IP68/IP69K waterproof, complete with O-ring sealing. This provides exceptional waterproofing letting the winch work even if submerged. (It even stands up to the rigors of high-temperature pressure washing.) A corrosion-resistant black-powder-coated finish and black fasteners meet the highest OEM-grade specs while looking great. The state-of-the-art finish will even stand up to a 408-hour salt spray test.

ZEON XC has a large-diameter one-piece aluminum-alloy drum to reduce rope wear and increase heat dissipation. The patented thru-drum rope anchor is also the strongest on the market, allowing easy rope installation. Inside the drum is a high-performance automatic brake rated to hold the winch’s full capacity, ensuring the ultimate in confidence.

More Mounting Versatility

ZEON XC has an exclusive, all-new low-profile control box. It sits lower than the winch’s tie plate, reducing the winch’s overall height to just 7.83″ (198.8mm) with the control box attached. The control pack can also be relocated off the winch using a relocation kit (sold separately). Plus, there’s a remote socket for the included corded remote, which can be moved up to 9″ (229mm) away from the control pack without disassembly. (Included is a durable corded remote with 12′ (3.7m) lead.)

Finally, the ZEON XC motor can be rotated up to 90° forward with the control pack still attached. The transmission can be clocked in up to five positions, too. Plus, this winch can be mounted in a foot-down or foot-forward orientation.

All these features allow the winch to easily be mounted in either foot-forward or foot-down mounting configurations.

ZEON XC is the most versatile, compact winch ever offered in the ZEON family. It can be had in eight configurations:

• ZEON XC 10-S: 10,000 lbs. single-line pulling capacity. Equipped with 100′ of 3/8″ Spydura synthetic rope, Epic hawse fairlead, and ruggedized corded remote.
• ZEON XC 10: 10,000 lbs. single-line pulling capacity. Equipped with 80′ of 3/8″ steel rope, roller fairlead, and ruggedized corded remote.
• ZEON XC 10 (bare drum): 10,000 lbs. single-line pulling capacity. Winch only with ruggedized corded remote. Rope and fairlead sold separately.
• ZEON XC 12-S: 12,000 lbs. single-line pulling capacity. Equipped with 80′ of 3/8″ Spydura Pro synthetic rope, Epic hawse fairlead, and ruggedized corded remote.
• ZEON XC 12: 12,000 lbs. single-line pulling capacity. Equipped with 80′ of 3/8″ steel rope, roller fairlead, and ruggedized corded remote.
