About me and my passion for cars

Prior to 1994 I didn't really care much about cars, as long as they got me from point A to point B I was happy. Then in 1994 I was given the opportunity to drive my co-workers 1969 Chevelle SS. Now mind you it was just across the street, but from that time I was HOOKED. A couple of months later my old 1986 Nissan 4x4 was finally giving up the ghost, and it was time to find a new car. After searching for a bit, and visiting all the little hole in the wall dealerships in the area, I came across a 1989 Camaro RS for under $6K. I took the car for a test drive, and spun the tires as I was pulling out of the lot. I drove it around the block, went right back into the dealership and bought the car. Since then I've been trying to learn as much about cars as I can, and am now working on my 4th Thirdgen Camaro.

My first car

1982 Plymouth TC3, 4 cylinder with a 4 speed trans. Nothing special, purchased the car at the age of 17 and drove it too and from High School and then Tech school.

Car I wish I still had

Even though my first Camaro doesn't compare to my current one, I still miss that car. However I put that car through the ringer and it paid a heavy price. Nothing like having it as a daily driver for 6 years in Chicago.

My dream car

1966 Chevelle, with a big block...don't care what size, just has to be a Rat!
