SEMA’s midway mark, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is running on pure caffeine and torque. I’m Chris Hamilton, still your boots-on-the-ground editor-in-chief at Motortopia, and by 9 a.m. the aisles are shoulder-to-shoulder with builders, buyers, and wide-eyed rookies trying to keep up.
SEMA 2025 Day One was setup chaos; Day Two was the opening bell. Day Three? It’s the heart of the fight, where deals get inked, prototypes get stress-tested, and the outdoor lots turn into a rolling showroom.

Out front, the feature vehicles are on display like hand-sculpted statues for the world to see. Inside, the halls are a filled from wall to wall with fine works on display in a fancy museum. The coffee lines are longer, the handshakes are firmer, and every booth is running hot with fresh reveals.

We’re still hunting the stories that don’t make the press kits: the garage-built mini-truck that just won its class, the EV swap that’s quieter than the conference room, and the one-off wheel design that’s soon to be sold out.
If you’re here, find us, swap a card, grab a cold one after hours, and let’s talk about what’s next. Day Three is when SEMA stops being a trade show and starts feeling like a movement. Be sure to check back tomorrow as we’re just getting warmed up.
