Pack the Cooler, Air Up the Bags, and Point Your Hood Toward Biloxi!

Scrapin’ The Coast 2025 rolled into the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi and did what it always does—packed the sand and asphalt with slammed minis, bagged full-size trucks, lifted builds, and enough billet to blind you by noon. This was the 23rd annual event, presented by American Force Wheels and hosted by the MonsterZ crew. The vibe was pure Gulf Coast, represented by trucks, tunes, family, and the sea breeze working overtime.

Friday was load-in day, and drive-through judging started early while vendors set up rows of parts, wheels, and merch. By Saturday morning, the gates popped at 8 a.m., and the lot filled fast. Stereo competition lanes fired up, DJ Maze and Toast kept the stage hot, and you could snag show tees in the lobby before cruising the rows. Families rolled deep, kids 10 and under got in free, and Hues & Heart handled face painting all weekend, which kept the little co-pilots smiling while Mom and Dad talked builds.

Midday Saturday, the lobby turned into a cornhole zone, and then at 2 p.m. it was time for the crowd favorite: the hop-off/hydraulic competition behind the main stage. Red’s Hydraulics hauled in from Miami and the south showed out with bumpers in the sky, frames sparking, and plenty of bragging rights earned. Registration and judging wrapped late afternoon, and the after-party shifted to Gulfport Dragway at 6 p.m. for more pedal-down fun.

Scrapin’ stays a family show with a heavy custom-truck core, and that’s why people keep coming back.

Sunday opened early with more stereo battles and last-chance laps around the grounds before the 3 p.m. awards on the main stage. Best-of trophies were picked on Sunday, so if you wanted hardware, your ride had to be on-site—no mail-outs here. This event abides by old-school show rules, and folks respect it.

What stood out? Variety. OBS Chevys tucking lip next to laid-out duallys, freshly painted C10s, clean late-model Sierras, and mini-trucks laying low and looking right. There were plenty of real-world builds and daily-driven rides in attendance. Scrapin’ stays a family show with a heavy custom-truck core, and that’s why people keep coming back.
