After a year of solid development and testing with numerous race teams, including Jason Johnson Racing #41 car, World of Outlaws, Wilwood Racing has released their new XRZ Sprint Car Brake Pedal and is confident to say it will be the best and last pedal you’ll ever need.
The new XRZ racing pedal design represents the next evolution in Wilwood’s dedication and commitment toward precision-engineered complete sprint car braking solutions. Standout features are the 360° adjustable foot pad plate to set the perfect angle for driver preference, and the dual-option pedal ratios to fine-tune pedal feel and achieve consistent performance. Options include a 6:1 ratio for most standard raised-rail frames, or 7:1 ratio as the ideal for both wing and non-wing cars to provide optimal feel, modulation, and pedal pressure.
Other key design elements built around the strongest lightweight forged aluminum no-flex pedal are the non-skid machine-serviced pad plate for enhanced foot traction, a dedicated drilled return spring tab at the base of the arm, and a durable black e-coat finish.
