C10s in the Swamp Makes a Big Splash

Year One in the Books

When we rolled Project Rocky into the show field at the first-ever C10s in the Swamp, we knew we were in for a fun Saturday, but we didn’t expect to be part of such a great grassroots GM truck gathering.

Held in Brooksville, Florida, this event was built for real-deal GM truck enthusiasts. No trophies. No drama. No squatted rides. Just a solid group of people, some killer old iron, and a whole lot of good vibes. From squarebody C10s to long-roof G-vans, the showgrounds were packed with 179 GM trucks, all ’98 or older, just like the rules called for.

This wasn’t some over-polished, corporate-feeling show either. It was about backyard builds, barn finds, and even a few beaters, all shining in their own way. The crowd? Blue collar through and through. Families, buddies, shop crews, everyone was just out there having a good time, telling stories, and checking out each other’s rides.

We were proud to have Project Rocky in the mix, and the truck got plenty of attention from folks who know their way around a classic Chevy. We spent the day hanging out with builders, vendors, and fans of the mag, and even checked out the used parts at the swap meet.

The best part? The show raised over $3,000 for Lauren’s Kids, a local nonprofit that supports survivors of abuse. That’s the kind of give-back we like to see in this community.

Shoutout to the organizers Wayne and Azya Jackson, the volunteers, and the sponsors like LMC Truck, National Parts Depot, Squarebody Relics, and Iron Carriers for putting in the work. You set the bar high for a first-year event, and we’re already circling the dates for March 13–14, 2026.

If you’ve got a GM truck and a free weekend in March, C10s in the Swamp is where you’ll want to be. We’ll see y’all there.
