LAKE ZURICH, ILL. (June 4, 2025) Heidts, a leader in high-performance suspension systems, proudly introduces the HF-640 Heavy-Duty frame for 1967-72 Chevy C10 trucks. This all-new, full-boxed frame is engineered for serious builders and restorers looking to replace aging factory frames with a modern, high-performance foundation.

Crafted in the USA from 7-gauge HRPO American steel, each frame is hand-built at Heidts’ Illinois facility and designed to bolt directly to factory cab and bed mounting points. The HF-640 frame includes Heidts’ proven Superide® II Independent Front Suspension and Parallel 4-Link Rear Suspension, substantially improving ride quality, handling and chassis rigidity.

“The 1967–72 C10 is one of the most popular classic trucks on the market, and our HF-640 frame kit is a comprehensive solution for anyone looking to bring modern comfort and performance to their build,” said Wallace Leyshon, CEO of Heidts. “With customizable options and unmatched craftsmanship, this kit simplifies the process and raises the bar for classic truck suspension.”

The Superide® II IFS features precision geometry for improved handling and road feel, along with tubular upper and lower control arms, 11-inch rotors, adjustable coilovers, a sway bar and a power rack-and-pinion steering system. Out back, the 4-Link Rear Suspension replaces outdated leaf springs with a coilover setup that improves ride comfort, eliminates axle wrap and allows for adjustable ride height, perfect for slammed builds or pro-touring applications.

Heidts also offers a wide range of upgrade options, including brake packages, spindle choices, third members and more, allowing builders to tailor the kit to their specific needs.

Whether restoring a worn-out truck or building a high-horsepower street machine from the ground up, the HF-640 Frame Kit delivers a rock-solid platform with modern suspension technology, all backed by Heidts’ decades of American manufacturing expertise.
