1958 Tesla Swapped Chevy Apache – AKA – the “TeslApache” built by Electric 51 Speed Shop in Salt Lake City Utah has been terrorizing Car+Truck Show Auto Cross tracks over the last 5-6 years. It’s been featured in both Street Trucks Magazine and EV Builder’s Guide and was driven by Dave Kindig and KevDogg on an episode of Bitch’n Rides back in 2023.
The truck is powered by a Tesla Model S rear drive unit that pushes 400HP and unrelenting electric torque straight to the wheels. Stopping all that power is a Wilwood Power Brake Booster connected to a standalone GM vacuum pump and 4 wheel Disc brakes. To help get in out out of those slippery autocross course cones, the power steering is run by a Volvo s40 stand alone electric power steering pump connected to the Camaro power steering box. Yes, Camaro steering box, it sits on a 1981 Camaro front suspension that has been fit with Ridetech Shockwaves for air ride up front and a modified Cadillac suspension in the rear with 2500 Vixen air bags.
The battery pack is a 3P6S LG chem pack managed by a Dilithium Designs BMS. There are two packs of nine modules, one under the cab between the frame rails and one under the hood over the front suspension. The Tesla Large Drive unit is controller via Bluetooth with EV Controls app on a phone, or iPad. The truck charges with any j1772 compatible level 2 charger. $73,000 OBO.
This 1985 BMW 635CSi underwent a full electric conversion in 2021 by the renowned Moment Motors, located in Austin, Texas. The car boasts a striking silver exterior, European bumpers, and authentic German dash buttons. The chassis has clocked 135k miles as a gas vehicle, and since the conversion, the car has added 12.3k miles running on pure electric power.
The electric powertrain includes dual Hyper 9 motors paired with dual controllers, pushing a combined 1000A. The liquid-cooled 42kWh battery pack comprises seven Tesla 6.3kWh modules, and charging is handled by dual 3kW TSM chargers for a total of 6kW. Additional electrical components include a 1000W DC-DC converter and a J1772 charging port. More specifications.
Comfort and Interior Features: Recaro seats, Coco mats, Sheepskin seat covers for winter driving, Five-speed “dog-leg” transmission, Air conditioning and heating, AM/FM/CD/BT radio receiver with a telescoping antenna, Original trunk toolset, sunroof, pneumatic locking system, Laminated 12V electrical schematics, spare keys, and car cover. $75,000 OBO.

A vintage Fiat 124 Spider — so pretty you could pinch its little orange cheeks — accelerates up a canyon road in the San Fernando Valley. But there’s something strange about this Pininfarina-designed Italian roadster. First, it feels downright peppy as it chugs uphill. And there’s actually no “chugging,” but rather a spacey, high-pitched whir. NY Times.
This Fiat is an entirely new car with 700 miles on it. It’s a complete nuts-and-bolts rebuild and restoration. It was an Electric GT Marque built to demonstrate the eGT173 system. It’s powered by the Netgain Hyper 9 and a 5-speed manual OEM rebuilt trans.
With 120 electric horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque below its hood, and 25 kilowatt-hours’ worth of batteries stuffed into its trunk area, the Fiat delivers roughly 75 to 85 miles of driving range, enough for a sunny weekend cruise before it’s time to plug back in.
It is ready to ship and drive. $75,000 OBO.
Inside this 1982 Fiat is a modern battery-powered drive system designed by Electric GT. The electric conversion has sharply boosted its own power and acceleration, from the original’s 10-second ooze from zero to 60 miles an hour to roughly seven sprightly seconds.
“A lot of guys go out in a classic car that’s 40 or 50 years old, but it’s a one-way trip — they get a ride home with AAA,” said Eric Hutchison, who founded Electric GT in 2014 with a partner, Brock Winberg. “This is for enthusiasts who love their cars but want something reliable that’s good for a weekend drive.”
