Drum-to-Disc Rear Big Brake Kit for OBS 1988-1998 GM C1500, 5-Lug Applications (140-17673)

Wilwood has released new big brake kit options for rear drum-to-disc conversions for GM C1500 Silverado, Sierra, and similar SUVs based on the popular motorsports-proven AERO4R caliper and Spec 37 rotor options. Complete bolt-on brake kits provide an upgrade to make trucks safer with improved stopping power and include an internal parking brake assembly and cable connection kit to maintain the original feature. Experience more clamping force, better thermal capacity, and improved pedal feel for more confident braking in daily street performance to heavy-use applications including hauling, towing, off-road, and commercial workloads. These brake kits are designed to complement and engineered to be compatible with Wilwood front kits, factory ABS, and OE master cylinders. The 14.00” proprietary Spec 37 iron alloy rotors come in a 5 x 5.00” lug pattern and feature 72 curved vanes. Choose E-coated GTB slotted, or SRP drilled & slotted rotor faces. Wilwood’s BP-10 street performance brake pads and premium-grade hardware are included. Calipers come in gloss red or black powder coat and 26 optional colors (additional charges apply).

3.00” Axle Clamp Flexline Hose Kit for Solid Axles (220-17289)

Wilwood has engineered a solution to simplify the secure mounting of Flexline hoses to 3.00” solid axle rear ends. Our 3” Axle Clamps will assist the installer by including all necessary parts to attach calipers with Flexlines to the chassis hardlines. The kit includes 3.00” axle clamp-on brackets with line mounts to hold the 12” Flexline to-caliper connection to a 3/16” chassis hardline. Choose either 45° or 90°, -3 to 1/8-27 NPT fittings at the caliper end, and mount the -3 to 3/8-24 IF through the mount on the axle clamp and hold in place using the provided chassis retainer clips.
